Navigation analysis Covariance and Guidance Local and Global Optimisation applications Analysis tools to support mission analysis work Contributions to the flight dynamics infrastructure software General Mission Analysis engineering activities Qualifications MSc in any related discipline Required knowledge Strong mathematical background is expected, experienceknowledge of mission analysis is highly beneficial Strong background in modern software development Python, C Experience in Gitlab, familiarity with DevOps techniques such as continuous integration and testing, Docker containers Experience in Mission Analysis Tools Development local and global optimisation techniques and algorithms, covariance and MonteCarlo analysis, environmental models, numerical integration techniques Knowledge about operational and ground segment aspect in the missionarchitecture design Desirable Knowledge Familiarity with the ESOC environment Familiarityexperience with Flight Dynamics operations engineering tasks Experience dealing with external interfaces Experience with Linux, network services and protocols, system administration, modern software development tools The ability to multitask efficiently working on multiple activities, multiple subsystems and if applicable multiple missions simultaneously. You will join a team that supports the Mission Analysis Software Development, as well as additional service, missions and activities within the scope of general Flight Dynamics operations engineering services. The team mainly focuses on developing software tools in the frame of the CAP project, which involves a modernisation of tools used by mission analysts based on new flight dynamics infrastructure software, GODOT.
