The Anvil Group, which offers security services risk management and security services for international business travelers, will move into about 8,000 square feet next week, said Mercedes Angell , a senior director of office brokerage services with Cushman & Wakefield of Florida Inc. Mary Clare Codd, a director with Colliers International Tampa Bay, represented Anvil in the transaction. The company was previously located off Eisenhower Boulevard South, on the fringes of Westshore.

The Steelcase pyramid, once the shining star in the world's largest office maker's firmament, has become a lonely place standing in the middle of a field of native prairie grasses and flowers. Instead of employing hundreds of engineers and designers, it's now the sole domain of Jim Faunce, who moved to West Michigan from Denver last month to watch over the 7-story structure for its new owners, California-based Norman Properties LLC. Built for $111 million as the "Corporate Development Center," Steelcase moved out in 2010 as sales and profits fell during The Great Recession.
BioMed lands two new biotech tenants at former Vertex space

BioMed Realty has landed two new life science tenants for its newly repositioned Sidney Research Campus at 200 Sidney St., 40 Erie St. and 21 Erie St. in Cambridge. The new tenants of the space, formerly inhabited by Vertex Pharmaceuticals , are CRISPR Therapeutics and Synlogic Inc. CRISPR, a biopharmaceutical company that's pioneering genome-editing technology to make medicines for serious diseases, will lease 19,817 square feet of lab and office.
