After years of discussion and wondering of whether or not there would ever be a farm bill, both the Senate and the House have finally passed it. Yes, although it took a while for them to arrive to a final Farm Bill, I belive it is fair to everyone. No, it focuses more on crop insurance than it does on the livestock industry. I'm just glad they passed a Farm Bill.

The single biggest change in the measure is the elimination of direct payments to farmers in favor of insurance, but the main emotion was relief at finally getting a program passed.
