Com Hem buys Boxer Sweden from Teracom

(Telecompaper) Cable network operator Com Hem said it has agreed to acquire Boxer Sweden from Teracom for SEK 1.33 billion, as part of its expansion into serving detached homes. Com Hem said its detached house trials have been successful. A significant roll-out to fibre-based networks beyond the coax footprint has begun and is estimated to add 800,000 so-called villas passed by fibre over the coming years.
