(Telecompaper) Com Hem said it is reporting Telia Company to the EU Commission Monitoring Trustee for breach of EU terms for approving Telia's takeover of Bonnier Broadcasting. The Tele2 subsidiary said Telia has begun the auction of streaming rights that the commision had demanded as a condition for clearing the merger, but that it has included more rights than the EU had intended. Com Hem claims this is meant to lock in TV4 streaming and limit competition.

(Telecompaper) Tele2 has reported a 2 percent decline in second quarter group revenue to SEK 6.79 billion, with end-user service revenue falling by 1 percent to SEK 5.08 billion. Net profit was SEK 2.1 billion, boosted by the capital gain from the sale in Kazakhstan but dented by goodwill impairment in Estonia. In Sweden, the Com Hem integration is progressing, and it reached its FY run-rate synergy target after only six months.

Com Hem offers 3-month discount and double data for existing customers with mobile launch

(Telecompaper) Com Hem has formally begun offering mobile telephony, following a soft launch in January. The fixed-mobile convergence (FMC) follows Com Hem's merger with Tele2 Sweden. Introductory offers include unlimited calls, texts and data from SEK 99 per month for three months, and double data for existing Com Hem customers who sign up.
