Jackson Hole News: Wyoming legislators will consider soon whether to remove a restriction on teaching about climate change in public schools. A bill that will hit the House floor this month in the Wyoming Legislatures general session aims to reverse a state ban on implementing new national standards called Next Generation Science Standards. Oregon business and legislative leaders agree state should raise vehicle taxes

Oregon legislative leaders and business groups expressed strong support Tuesday for increasing vehicle taxes to provide more money for transportation projects. The clear backing among the state's key political and business figures for hiking transportation taxes was highlighted at the annual Oregon Leadership Summit , which attracted more than 1,100 to the all-day conference at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
