Areas of specialized testing and certification include IT equipment, medical devices, laboratory and industrial equipment, lighting products, as well as fuel burning and electric appliances. CSA Group opened new 17,600 ft² laboratory in Seattle, WA that offers testing and product development services for commercial and residential lighting and optical products. Lab has industry-leading light measurement equipment and is designed for characterization, measurement, and testing to various standards, including North American (NA) IES and international IEC standards. Richard Weiser of CSA Group said it will continue to expand services to help clients reach NA and global markets.
