Ranchi, May 15: The long-held-up IIIT project - Indian Institute of Information Technology in Jharkhand was sanctioned in 2010 - has inched forward two crucial steps towards becoming a reality. Union ministry of human resource development last week okayed the Sanga mouza land in Kanke for the information technology college, following which the state IT department has written letters to Tata Motors and Tata Consultancy Services , the project's industry partners, to chip in with Rs 4 crore each.
