Twilio raises USD 150 mln in IPO

(Telecompaper) Twilio, the maker of a platform for developing communication apps, has raised USD 150 million in its initial public offering of shares. The 10 million shares for sale were priced at USD 15 per share and will start trading 23 June on the New York Stock Exchange. The shares were priced above the indicated range of USD 12-14, and the pricing gives the company a market capitalisation of around USD 1.2 billion. Twilio has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1.5 million additional shares at the initial public offering price.

(Telecompaper) Line is hoping to raise USD 1 billion in its initial public offering (IPO) in July, Bloomberg reported, citing a company filing. Line will sell shares in the US and Japan at a valuation of about JPY 588 billion. The offering is for 35 million new and existing shares, with an over-allotment of 5.25 million shares. The price range will be set on 27 June, and the final price on 11 July, the company said.

In what may be also a dual listing in New York, the company is expected to raise USD 2-3 billion and attract a valuation of over USD 5 billion, the report said. Line and its Korean parent company Naver said nothing has been decided about an IPO.

(Telecompaper) Twilio, a cloud communications platform for developers, said it filed for an IPO with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Twilio allows software developers to programmatically make and receive phone calls and send and receive text messages using its web service APIs. No details have yet been provided as to the number of shares to go on offer or their price range. Twilio intends to list its Class A shares on the New York Stock Exchange. Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan will act as joint book-running managers.
