Some Arena investors got a big surprise yesterday when it was revealed in a quarterly conferece call that Arena's marketing partner Eisai is essentially running a bare bones effort until after the data from a CVOT trial is released in 2018.

Arena saw U.S. sales of Belviq continue to under-perform levels needed to impress the street this past week. Sales are 12% off of the pace established in Q4, and are down a stunning 22% from the levels we were seeing just a year ago.
