Sierra Club, Little Rock extend settlement of sewer overflow problems

The Arkansas Sierra Club and the Little Rock Wastewater Utility have agreed to extend until 2023 oversight in a settlement agreement to reduce sewer overflows. Parties said the sewer utility had made improvements but more time was needed to find ways to efficiently mitigate overflows.
