Supplied in SMD SOIC8 package, HAL 3675 enables measurement of magnetic fields in parallel to chip surface by use of vertical Hall plates. Technology also enables detection of additional spatial component (X or Y axis). Combination of these 2 magnetic field vectors and following signal processing enable direct detections of rotation angles from 0° to 360° at end or beside turning shaft as well as linear distance measurements up to ±20 mm.
