FAA, in partnership with National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA), implemented Safety Review Process (SRP). This 18-month pilot program, open to all bargaining-unit employees, lets FAA employees who work in Aircraft Certification Service (AIR) elevate safety concerns without fear of retaliation. SRP fosters voluntary, cooperative, non-punitive environment for open reporting, and provides tool to accelerate elevation of safety-related concerns.
