Automatic Bending Machine handles thin plastic sheets.
2016-03-31 14:31:10| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
With 4 ft 5 in. working length, Model AFF135 handles plastic sheets from .007–.039 in. thick. Machine includes adjustable electronic heating element that can also be controlled in contact-time. Material is heated by Teflon-coated sword, which can be replaced with different sizes, so that radius can be changed accordingly. Using protractor, angle of bend can be set from 0–180°. Vacuum holds sheets in place, and during cooling process, cold air is blown onto bent parts to speed production.

Automatic Loading System enhances tool grinding productivity.
2016-03-31 14:31:10| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
Integrated directly into WALTER machines without increasing their footprint or restricting working envelope, WALTER Top Loader reduces tool loading time during grinding operations. Features include swiveling arm with single gripper, and operation relies upon 2 standard WALTER robot pallets: one for blanks and one for finished tools. With setup completed automatically through electrical teaching routing, pallets can be loaded with up to 500 tools. Changeover takes 27 sec.
