We are currently looking for a Senior Embedded Software Developer to support our customer in Germany. Senior Embedded Software Developer Key Tasks and Responsibilities As part of the Software Development, you will have the following responsibilities OnBoard Software development in a satellite project Support to the system analysis and software architecture Development of the detailed software design at subsystem level Implementation of the designed software modules Performance of corresponding module and integration tests on bench level Support to the software system tests and software project reviews Preparation of the software documentation. Skills Experience You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience Degree in engineering with a major in computer technology, electrical engineering, space technology or comparable qualifications Extensive professional experience as software developer of embedded software, ideally in the space industry, aerospace or an area with similar development processes Excellent knowledge of object oriented analysis and design as well as a very good knowledge in C and C and in the use of realtime operating systems e.g. RTEMS, VxWorks, NUCLEUS Knowledge of MIL1553 bus and CAN bus as well as DOORS, UML, IBM Rational Rhapsody, Rational Rose, PolySpace, TclTk are a plus Fluency in English is mandatory knowledge of another European language is an advantage. We are looking for an experienced Spacecraft Simulator Software Developer, to work in the Ground Operation Department of Termas Space division, located in Darmstadt, Germany, as a simulator applications developer. The Simulator Software Developer performs detailed design, implementation and testing in of the spacecraft simulator, as part of a team of Software and Aerospace Engineers. Software design will use an objectoriented design, using the UML notation supported by the MagicDraw design tool. Implementation and testing language will mainly be C. The Simulator Software Developer will be expected to utilize best practice processes and techniques throughout design, implementation and testing, and appropriate metrics to control and monitor the quality and maintainability of the software application. Both conventional and Agile development lifecycle models will be used where appropriate, and full configuration management of all software will be maintained. This is a fulltime position with a planned starting date as soon as possible. Your Qualifications Applicants should have a university degree in Computer Science. Degrees in Aerospace Engineering, Electronic Engineering or MathematicsPhysics are acceptable provided extensive Software Engineering experience can be provided.
