Reuters: Student engineers from ETH Zurich are preparing to fly their world-record breaking solar plane over the Amazon rainforest. The team is fitting its AtlantikSolar unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for a 400 kilometer, 12 hour, flight as it seeks to push the endurance limits of solar planes. " A Delta Air Lines plane aborted takeoff Monday in Jamaica after a fire was reported in its cargo area, forcing 160 people and six crew members to evacuate the commercial jetliner which was scheduled to fly from Montego Bay to Atlanta. A tarantula that escaped in the cargo hold of a passenger flight from Maryland's BWI airport to Atlanta grounded the plane before it could take off and sent passengers onto another flight. Brian Kruse, spokesman for Delta Air Lines, tells The Baltimore Sun that baggage handlers noticed a baboon tarantula had gotten out of its container on Flight 1525 Wednesday night.
