Psychiatrist Harish Malhotra, MD, of Summit -- former Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at Overlook Medical Center -- will release his second book, entitled Pathways to Hope offers a more clinical approach to connecting with patients during psychotherapy, by featuring metaphors Malhotra uses to help his patients in therapy and to teach medical students open-ended interview techniques. The metaphors in this book serve as an extension to the ones in Malhotra's first book, Metaphors of Healing: Playful Language in Psychotherapy and Everyday Life .

Marvel Announces New 'Howard the Duck' Comic Book

Apparently, the Guardians of the Galaxy halo effect includes in-joke post-credit sequences, with Marvel Entertainment announcing that Howard the Duck - the character who cameoed at the very end of James Gunn 's summer blockbuster - will get his own ongoing comic book series next year. Written by Chip Zdarsky with art by Joe Quinones , the series will feature the character becoming a private investigator in the Marvel Universe.
