Justice Department drops SandRidge Energy investigation

The Oklahoma City-based oil and natural gas company said Friday the government has dropped its grand jury investigation of possible antitrust violations in the purchase or lease of land, oil or natural gas rights from 2012 and prior years. SandRidge previously disclosed that in December 2013 it received a subpoena from the Justice Department concerning the federal investigation.

Climate Nexus: Norways sovereign wealth fund sold shares worth $2.3 billion in 52 coal-dependent companies, the countrys central bank announced Thursday. Greenpeace estimates that this was the single biggest divestment from coal yet and media called the move a sign of the growing influence investors wield in the fight against climate change. The fund, worth $836 billion and currently the largest in the world, pledged in June to divest from companies that make 30 percent or more of their revenue from coal....

Nike has been bringing a number of its silhouettes to the golf course this season, most notably the Air Force 1 and original Flyknit Chukka just this year. Likely due to the positive reception of the latter in particular, the Swoosh unveils a multicolored version of the mid-cut silhouette featuring an uber-comfortable Flyknit construction and a Phylon sole outfitted with rubber spikes.
