(Telecompaper) Lenovo unveiled at Tech World 2016 the Moto Z family of smartphones with Moto Mods interchangeable backs that transform a smartphone into a battery powerhouse, a big screen projector or a boombox. The Moto Z porfolio of smartphones initially comprises Moto Z and Moto Z Force. Combined with the all new Moto Mods, one can transform their Moto Z into a speaker with the JBL SoundBoost or a 70-inch movie projector with the Moto Insta-Share Projector. There's also the Power Pack, which adds 22 hours of life to a phone and it comes in fashionable designs from partners like kate spade new york and Tumi. Lenovo also introduced the 'Moto Mods Developer Program' through which developers can create new Moto Mods.

South Korea unveils 'electronic textile' for wearables

(Telecompaper) A team of South Korean scientists has developed an electronic device that can stick to clothing, paving the way for wearable displays and monitoring censors, Yonhap news agency reports, citing the South Korean Science Ministry. The electronic device attached to fabric via artificial cilia on its edges is dubbed 'electronic textile', said Ko Heung-cho, an associate professor at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology.
