Might be a bit of a hiccup for Burlington Northern as it readies to build a second set of tracks through the La Crosse River marsh. A local photographer thinks a bald eagle nest could be close enough to the tracks to warrant a special federal permit for the company to proceed with the their plans.

Georgia college changes stadium plans to accommodate eagles (with video)

A pair of bald eagles picked the right college campus to call home. Berry College, a private school in northwest Georgia, has shifted the site for its first football stadium a couple hundred yards to accommodate the mating pair of eagles nesting in a towering pine tree in the middle of the original location of the $6.9 million project, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
