South Korea's weighty corporations will hold their shareholders meetings starting this week, where minority stake owners and the national pension fund operator are expected to gain a bigger voice, market watchers said Sunday. The assembly for shareholders began last month, but big-name companies, including Samsung Group and Hyundai Motor affiliates, have scheduled the meetings in the coming two weeks, mostly on Fridays that have been duly named the "super" day of shareholders.

The 7-2 ruling against CSX Transportation Inc. reversed the decision [opinion, PDF] of the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit [official website], remanding the case to consider "whether Alabama's fuel-excise tax is the rough equivalent of Alabama's sales tax as applied to diesel fuel," and would thus justify the motor carrier tax exemption.

FAA has proposed framework of regulations that would allow routine use of certain small unmanned aircraft systems in today's aviation system, while maintaining flexibility to accommodate future technological innovations.
