Feb 16 Bunge Ltd is seeking to resell a cargo of French milling wheat that was rejected by Egypt in December over trace levels of ergot fungus, traders said on Tuesday. Bunge launched legal proceedings earlier this month against Egypt's state grain buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities , over the rejected cargo.

Agence France-Presse: Former French foreign minister Laurent Fabius will step down as president of COP21, the UN's climate forum, after being appointed head of France's constitutional court, according to a resignation letter seen by AFP. Facebook given 3 months to comply with French privacy act

(Telecompaper) French data protection authority Cnil has issued formal notice to Facebook to come into line with the country's Data Protection Act within 3 months or face a potential penalty. The Cnil objects to several ways in which the social networking pioneer collects personal data, including information about internet users who do not have a Facebook account. Facebook offers no tools to allow users to prevent the compilation and transfer to third parties of user-provided information, which 'violates their fundamental rights and interests, including their right to respect for private life.'
