This allows RLT system, which increases brightness to LEDs with full red, green, blue, and white color capability, to replace neon-based signs currently used in side-firing applications. Using 4-color LED package allows light output to be digitally controlled and produce unlimited color variations. Both are designed for side-emitting applications suitable for replacing neon tubes, with 50,000 hr lifetime of LEDs. Illumination platform has produced brightness improvements of up to 2.5X using white LEDs by Cree and is also suitable for use with multi-colored LED packages.
