An underground bend in the stream through a culvert makes it a particularly hazardous area for flooding during storms. Jared Bond, an environmental and surface water supervisor with the city of Lynnwood, points out features of Scriber Creek that make it susceptible to flooding near the Casa Del Rey Condominiums.
