That's per the latest bi-yearly Hot Trends outlook issued by eft Supply Chain and Logistics Business Intelligence , a unit of U.K-based Eyefortransport Ltd. The report, based on the firm's industry knowledge as well as the opinions of 300 supply chain and logistics executives, also found that over 60% of those surveyed currently use or will use predictive analytics by 2018.

Kuehne + Nagel opens Singapore Logistics Hub facility

Located at Pioneer Crescent, the company said it invested almost US$100 million in the facility - the firm's largest investment outside of Europe - as part of regional expansion plans to support its fast growing supply chain clientele operating within Singapore and the ASEAN countries. A total of 46,000 sqm of the 50,000 sqm facility will be dedicated to warehousing space, and 40 per cent of the facility has been furnished with advanced chilled storage, redressing and postponement facilities to support the growing base of pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in Singapore.
