Swedish portable payment company iZettle is the second fastest growing company in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to a ranking by analysts at global consulting firm Deloitte. iZettle, which launched in Stockholm just five years ago, developed the first credit card chip-reader that connects directly to mobile phones and tablets.

TOKYO, Dec 2 Japanese smartphone parts maker TDK Corp expects to win more orders next year from a major North American customer whose high-end phones are set to carry improved features, its chief executive said, in a reference to Apple Inc and its iPhones. "Expectations for the next year are high," Takehiro Kamigama told Reuters in an interview on Wednesday, suggesting that the next-generation iPhone is expected to carry more of its high-frequency filters per handset.
Pfizer latest Big Pharma firm wooed by Heptares' membrane protein smarts

Pfizer did not name any specific disease areas that Heptares will look at, but did say the agreement will cover up to 10 potential drug candidates. The partnership follows just a week after Israeli drugmaker Teva Pharmaceutical Industries partnered with Heptares to develop treatments for migraine using its structure-based drug design platform, known as StaR.
