Today marked the official inauguration of the Borkum Riffgrund 1 offshore wind power plant: 78 Siemens wind turbines, each with a capacity of 3.6 megawatts and a rotor diameter of 120 meters, will supply around 320,000 German households with ecofriendly electricity.
