The new year brought new ownership for Novartis Animal Health in Greensboro as it becomes part of the Elanco Animal Health division of Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly and Co . With the change in ownership, Novartis Animal Health was required to shed its Sentinel product line, which offers dogs protection against heartworm and other parasites, but that will have only minimal impacts on the Greensboro operation, an Elanco spokeswoman said.
