Overview In support of the main training tasks, the EAC Training Division performs a variety of training services and training support functions such as training administration, records keeping and reporting, provision and maintenance of an adequate training environment including facilities for training and operations, preparation and readiness of industrial instructor teams and the provision of uptodate training methods and technologies. Specifically, HSFAT shall ensure recordskeeping for Astronaut and Ground Personnel training and certification, providing reports to IPs with respect to training conducted at EAC for IP Astronauts and for training conducted at all locations for ESA Astronauts. Validation of certification of lesson and instructors as well as final certification of Astronauts shall be provided. Planning and scheduling of training activity shall also be coordinated and ensured, as well as coordination of training events.
