With line of smart probes, Model 2100 can measure conductivity of liquids from 10-3 S/cm, such as low concentration of salt solutions in water, down to 10-15 S/cm, approaching hexane and other highly non-polar solvents. Factory-calibrated probes are completely sample-independent; there is no need to recalibrate probe every time sample with different conductivity or dielectric constant is measured. Probes can be disassembled for cleaning and reassembled in seconds with no change in cell constant.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is investigating allegations that Andrew Liveris, chairman and chief executive officer of industrial giant Dow Chemical Co , misused company funds for personal benefit, according to people familiar with the matter. It is not clear whether the SEC investigation is limited to the spending allegations or is broader in scope.
