Available for pipe sizes from 5/8–2 in. and suitable for sub-metering applications with respective flow ranges of .22–22 gpm and .25–160 gpm, CLXC-P (single-jet) and MJ-SDC (multi-jet) meet ANSI/NSF 61 for materials safety and ANSI/NSF 372 for lead free compliance. CLXC-P meters are rated for cold water to 122°F and hot water applications to +140°F, while MJ-SDC meters are rated for cold water to 122°F. Both meters have 150 psi max operating pressure and 1.5% nominal accuracy.

Idaho eyes new water standards with fish-consumption survey

A recently completed Idaho fish-consumption survey that's part of a state process to set new water quality standards could mean greater restrictions for towns and businesses that have sewage permits. The Idaho D epa rtment of Environmental Quality released the 92-page survey on Wednesday as part of a process that started after the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency rejected the state's current standards in 2012.

California orders emergency standards cut water use by toilets, showers

ClimateWire: California regulators passed emergency efficiency standards for toilets, faucets and other water-using appliances yesterday, a move aimed at stemming water waste as the state's historic drought grows worse. Starting in January 2016, retailers will not be allowed to sell showerheads, toilets, urinals, bathroom and kitchen faucets and other appliances that violate the new standards. Toilets can use no more than 1.28 gallons per flush, down from 1.6 gallons, and kitchen faucets will not be permitted...
