Accepting 2 IF (Intermediate Frequency) analog input channels, Cobalt® Model 71624 modifies up to 34 signals, and then delivers them to 2 analog IF outputs. Any signal within each IF band can be independently enabled/disabled and changed in both frequency and amplitude. XMC features Virtex-6 FPGA and 34 independently tunable DDCs and supports such functions as signal drop/add/replace, frequency shifting and hopping, amplitude equalization, and bandwidth consolidation.

Nanotopography could be used to increase how permeable skin is, according to new experiments by researchers at the University of California-San Francisco, Emory University, GeorgiaTech and the Kimberly-Clark Corporation. Making skin more permeable could allow for more efficient transdermal drug delivery - via microneedles, for example.
