Fourth Street crossing to be resurfaced

Burlington Northern Santa Fe will begin resurfacing the railroad crossing at Fourth Street in Fairfield Wednesday, and will finish in about two weeks. City Councilor Michael Halley said a traffic study indicated the Fourth Street crossing was the most used crossing in town, and that its poor quality has generated more complaints than any other issue.
