NTSB publicly released more than 2,000 pages of information as part of ongoing investigation of May 12, 2015, Amtrak passenger train derailment. Train #188 derailed after entering curve at 106 mph where speed is restricted to 50 mph. Of 250 passengers and 8 Amtrak employees, 8 passengers were killed and more than 200 others were transported to hospitals.
