FedEx to build large distribution center in Hampton

FedEx Ground plans to finish construction of a new 200,000-square-foot distribution center near Langley Speedway next September, the company confirmed. The 22-acre site at 61 Floyd Thompson Drive in Langley Research and Development Park is close to customers' distribution centers and is part of the company's nationwide network expansion, FedEx Ground spokesman David Westrick said.
