Housed in 3 x 3 mm, RoHS-compliant SMT package, Models CMD195C3 and CMD196C3 have isolation of 40 dB or greater, and switching speed of 1.8 nS. Model CMD195C3 features insertion loss of 2.25 dB at low end of its bandwidth, which then reduces monotonically to 1.5 dB at higher frequencies. By contrast, general-purpose Model CMD196C3 has low insertion loss of 1.5 dB that increases slightly as frequency approaches upper end of operating bandwidth. The positive gain slope feature allows for several switches to be cascaded together without the need for gain equalization circuitry.
