With a 20 percent increase in 2014 profit, Roper Industries Inc. says it's entering 2015 with "positive momentum" going for it. Roper , a Sarasota-based diversified technology firm, reported net income of $646 million, or $6.40 a share, for the 12 months ended Dec. 31, compared to net income of $538.3 million, or $5.37 a share, in 2013.
