Monster Beverage Corporation: Alarmist DAWN report is highly misleading

Monster Beverage Corporation has blasted a recent government report on drug-related ER visits that describes energy drinks as 'dangerous', as " highly misleading ". The report , which appears in the latest issue of The DAWN Report, says energy drink related visits to emergency rooms in the US doubled from 10,068 in 2007 to 20,783 in 2011.
