Incorporating flame retardant materials, 12 V lighting transformers are available with single inputs of 120, 208, 240, and 277 V; dual inputs of 115/230 V or 120/240 V; or tapped inputs (COM, 120/277 V). Rated outputs (11.4 Vac min) allow halogen bulbs to produce full color spectrum without exceeding 12.0 Vac max, which promotes bulb life. Employing UL 1446 Recognized Class N (200°C) insulation system, UL/cUL recognized transformers offer 60 Hz operation and come in 75 and 50 W models.
