Hawaiian Airlines had the highest rate of on-time arrivals among U.S. airlines in September at 90.8 percent, according to the latest Air Travel Consumer Report released by the U.S. Department of Transportation . For the month of September, Alaska Airlines ranked second with 87.2 percent of arrivals on-time; Delta Air Lines ranked fourth with 85.6 percent of arrivals on-time; American Airlines , which includes U.S. Airways , ranked sixth with 82.7 percent of arrivals on-time; and United Airlines at ninth with 80.7 percent of arrivals on-time.
