Position Reference 043 For our international client, we are looking for an experienced cyber security professional with expertise in Forensics Analysis. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Providing advice on the availability and reliability of the digital evidence Definition of procedures to acquire digital evidence from multiple ICT platforms in a manner compliant with the legal regulations applicable to the programme and to ensure its chain of custody Providing advice on new tools and technologies in the field of digital forensics Execution of the forensic procedures when required. Skills and Experience The following skills and experience are mandatory You have significant demonstrable experience in a Cyber Security related environment You have at least 4 years of experience dealing with the definition and execution of electronic forensics collection and analysis You have good knowledge of the forensic tools and technologies market You have experience in working within complex project environments involving several stakeholders. Project experience in space programmes will be an asset You have a high level of proficiency in the English language at least C1 level. Knowledge in other European languages will be an asset These activities are related to a programme funded by the European Commission. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will include Track lifecycle of known vulnerabilities Definition of vulnerability risk mitigations through operational measures Monitor implementation of operational mitigations performed the operators of the system Review evidences of Operational Mitigations and consolidate them for submission to the accreditation team Preparation of and attendance to Cyber Treatment meetings, Cyber Review Boards and any other relevant workshopsmeetings Report to Cyber Security Manager Provide support to the Cyber Security Manager on any other tasks under its responsibility. Telefonica unveils new IoT-focused cybersecurity unit

(Telecompaper) Telefonica has announced the launch of a new unit focused on the security of the Internet of Things (IoT) as well as new tools developed in close collaboration with its ElevenPaths security subsidiary and telecommunications software specialist Subex. The initiative, dubbed simply Telefonica IoT Cybersecurity Unit, aims to expand the operator's existing catalogue of IoT products and services offered to customers while developing new IoT security tools to address existing and emerging threats faced by businesses deploying IoT. Telefonica said the unit will be based on its existing network infrastructure and the new Internet of Things management services available on its Kite platform.
