Built on mobile platform with fork pockets and caster wheels, self-contained SubArc Portable Welding System utilizes SubArc Digital Series power sources, including DC models from 650–1,250 A and AC/DC model offering 1,000–1,250 A. Positioning of weld head to point of weld is possible through integrated motorized column, manual telescoping boom, cross slides, and 360° column rotation. Motorized column provides 44 in. of vertical travel, while manual boom provides 31 in. of horizontal travel.

Tester provides in-line monitoring of dedicated circuits up to 300 Vac and 40 A, and allows unattended monitoring to identify electrical events. Using back-up battery, tester enables unpowered display of results.

This neutral, agglomerated, fluoride-basic flux also helps meet X-factor requirements and provides impact toughness. Resulting slag detaches easily to help minimize post-weld cleaning. Suitable areas of use include power generation, petrochemical refinery, and pressure vessel applications.
