Corporation today announced a number of technology advancements and initiatives aimed at accelerating computing into the next dimension. The announcements include the Intel Curie module, a button-sized hardware product for wearable solutions; new applications for Intel RealSense cameras spanning robots, flying multi-copter drones and 3-D immersive experiences; and a broad, new Diversity in Technology initiative, which includes a $300 million investment to encourage more diversity at Intel and within the technology industry at large.

Fiat Chrysler Rises to Record as Marchionne Outlines Funding

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV touched the highest price since the carmaker's creation in October after Chief Executive Officer Sergio Marchionne formally began a stock and bond sale to boost cash by $3.7 billion euros. Fiat Chrysler is selling at least 87 million shares and a $2.5 billion mandatory convertible bond due in 2016, the London- based manufacturer said in a filing late yesterday.

RTCC: As the worlds biggest greenhouse gas emitter, China is critical to the success of international efforts to tackle climate change. When softly spoken lead negotiator Su Wei held a press briefing on day four of UN climate talks in Lima, journalists hung on his every word. China will publish its national contribution if not in the first quarter, at least in the first half of the year, said Su. He warned there was much work to do before the world could agree a climate deal in Paris next year....
