UK: Accolade Wines gives major push to Hardys

Accolade Wines has announced details of a major new UK ad campaign for its Hardys wine brand as its aims to revitalise the Chardonnay category.

Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) has signed a deal to package and produce supplies in the US for its rival Accolade Wines.

Accolade Wines has lined up the purchase of a raft of New Zealand wine brands, including Mud House and Waipara Hills, from the Mud House Wine Group.

Accolade Wines has said it still intends to appoint a new CEO and the recruitment process is on-going.

Accolade Wines is to launch new wines from Geyser Peak, the Californian winery it bought last year.
