BIO Says EPA Must Improve Renewable Fuel Standard administration.
2014-12-18 14:31:02| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
According to BIO, EPA delays in administering Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) generate uncertainty for advanced biofuel industry and undercut investment. BIO President and CEO Jim Greenwood cited EPA's failure to issue final 2014 RFS rule and other administrative delays as misconstrued as indicative of broken program but reassured that that same program has worked to spur innovation and growth in biofuels space and subsequently reduce U.S. GHG emissions and reliance on foreign oil.

Broadband Anti-Reflection Coatings come as standard options.
2014-12-17 14:31:31| Industrial Newsroom - All News for Today
YAG-BBAR broadband coating provides <1.0% reflectance per surface over its 500–1,100 nm wavelength range and absolute reflectance of <0.25% where it is optimized at 532 and 1,064 nm. Offering extended UV performance, VIS-EXT BBAR reduces reflection from 350–700 nm and provides <0.5% average reflectance per surface over its 350–700 nm range. Both broadband anti-reflection (BBAR) coatings are offered off-the-shelf on PCX lenses and can be applied to any uncoated optics.
