The project will be carried out mostly at the SRON location Utrecht with frequent visits at University of Amsterdam. The successful applicant will study Active Galactic Nuclei ionised outflows under different observational conditions, investigating the energetics and geometry of this complex medium. Timing and spectroscopy will be jointly used to study both the ejection and accretion mechanisms in the AGN. She will make use of archival data from the Chandra, XMMNewton and Hubble Space telescope satellites. Requirements Candidates should have a masters degree in Astronomy or Physics.
