Data Processing IVV engineer 1913011 Job Description We are looking for a Data Processing IVV engineer for a short term position at EUMETSAT to join the IVV team working on the integration and verification of the MTG ground segment. The period of the assignment is until June 2019. Any extension depends on the development of the overall MTG ground segment schedule. You will be responsible for developing and executing test procedures for the integration and verification of requirements, focusing on the Data Processing chain of the MTG ground segment. You will be challenged with a large variety of tasks supporting the routine operations of GEO and LEO Earth Observation mission as well as the operations preparation of furtue missions. Responsibilities Duties At our customer EUMETSAT you will be tasked with the maintenance and evolution of the facilities and systems of different Earth Observation missions such as the EUMETSAT Polar System EPS, Jason, or Meteosat Second Generation MSG. This includes a wide range of tasks, from the support of the daytoday operations and maintenance, to the handling of anomalies, upgrades and configuration changes for these facilities.
