Regional School Unit 13 officials hope to have School Board approval for the closure of at least one school in January and be ready to bring the issue forward in a referendum by March, according to a timeline provided by Business Manager Peter Orne. Superintendent John McDonald unveiled the "Schools of Our Future" plan Oct. 1, proposing some school closures and consolidations within the district and a partnership with Siemens Energy aimed at improving the district's buildings.
