Design meets all performance requirements for MIL-PRF-39012, and interface conforms to MIL-STD-348 FIG 310. While stainless steel body is available with passivated or gold finish, termination type is soldered body with soldered separate center contact. Connectors are intermateable with 3.5 and 2.92 mm designs.

Available in B, E, and F coded versions for automotive industry, HF109P meets requirements for HSD (High Speed Data) interfaces and is used for such signals as USB or IEEE1394. Connector system, as standard HSD without ring shield, is 100 Ω impedance controlled and transmits signals using LVDS, which prevents crosstalk between signals and interference from external influences. Metal housing is die-cast zinc with gold-plated center contacts with tinned throughhole solder contacts.
