A vacancy for a Agile Software Tester has arisen within Airbus Defence Space in Portsmouth. You will function as part of a team consisting of 10 developers. The role within the team is to act as the Test Manager and Test Analyst, responsible for defining the test strategy, test technology, whilst executing new and current test plans and test cases. The software products fall into 3 main categories Web sites Services, Windows Applications Services some using Web Services and SQL Server Databases. All are written using C and .NET from Visual Studio with TFS operating within the Agile Scrum development methodology. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Analysing the software products in development to construct and deliver a test framework within Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Lab Management Executing test plans and test cases against representative physical environments and virtualised environments through Lab Centre Wherever possible, coding practical tests for automation and included in regression test suites This role will involve some travel for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to a degree level in Computer Science or similar field Software Test background Experience with Agile methodologies Experience in writingcoding automation tests ISTQB Expert CTEL preferred or Advanced CTAL desirable Knowledge of Microsoft products Team Foundation Server All aspects of Configuration Control, Item Tracking and Process Management Visual Studio Test Professional with MSDN Lab Management Lab Centre C, Javascript, WCF, SQL Strong experience of Testing products Selenium SpecFlow Visual studio CodedUI Test StackWhite Microsoft Test Manager C and Javascript Agile Software Tester Good team player Please apply for this vacancy on line at our careers site www.jobs.airbusgroup.com with your CV attached.
